🛠️ Patch Notes
🚗 Vehicle Repurchase System
Previously, you could only buy a vehicle (like a quad or jetski) once in the Open World. If it got stolen, it was really tough to get a new one – unless you destroyed the old one first.
That’s now changed:
You can buy a new vehicle anytime, even if your old one was stolen.
The old vehicle will automatically be destroyed.
You still have to pay the full price.
You can only repurchase if no other player is currently sitting on your existing vehicle.
We want to keep the stealing mechanic – it adds chaos, risk, and fun moments. The victim is still “punished,” since they must wait until the thief dismounts and then pay the full price for a new one.
The thief also takes a risk: if they dismount for even a second, the vehicle might disappear instantly. That’s especially dangerous if you’re riding a jetski and end up stranded on Rocky Beach. 🌊
Result: more strategy, more awareness, and more tension between players. 👀
⚡ Death by Short Circuit
Previously, if you caused a short circuit while using the Repair Gun’s wire minigame at the Power Tower, the minigame just closed – no punishment, and you could restart immediately.
That’s no longer the case:
A short circuit now kills your character.
This helps balance the minigame – mindless clicking is no longer a valid strategy.
You’ll need to think carefully about how you connect the wires.
💡 Tip: Death costs increase each round – from Round 4 onward, each death costs 20,000 GG$. 👉 In short: Think before you wire – or it’ll cost you dearly!
🏁 Fair Spawns in the Jetski Minigame
Players spawning on the left side had a noticeable advantage at race start.
We’ve rebalanced this:
Spawns have been redistributed for equal starting conditions.
Goal: fair and competitive races for everyone! 🛥️
🛢️ Fuel Notifications for Shop Owners
Previously, shop owners weren’t notified when players refueled their vehicles at their stations.
That’s fixed now:
You’ll receive an immediate in-game notification whenever someone fuels up at your shop.
Makes it easier to track your shop’s activity and income.
🧰 Overhauled Toolbar
The toolbar is now dynamic instead of fixed.
Hoverboard Bug Fixed:
Previously, you could accidentally mount the hoverboard even when trying to use tools like the Repair Gun or Wire Cutters.
That’s now fixed – tools work as intended, without unwanted hoverboard mounting.
🌐 Major Network Bugfix
We’ve fixed a critical networking issue that was ruining some fun moments:
Spectators in minigames and vehicles in the Open World were most affected.
The issue: mounting a vehicle would cause instant rubber-banding because replication failed.
Fixed! Vehicle usage and spectator mode are now much more stable. 🚀
🆕 Quest Completion Bonus
You’ll now be rewarded more for completing quests!
Previously, finishing 3 quests simply gave you 3 new ones. Now, you’ll also receive a cash bonus every time you complete a set of 3 quests.
Example:
First 3 quests → +25,000 GG$
Next 3 quests → +50,000 GG$
Next 3 quests → +75,000 GG$
Keep questing for bigger rewards! 💰
🚂 Train Update
The train is now way more stable and bug-free!
Fixes & Improvements:
Camera Fix: No more weird camera behavior when moving around inside the train.
Respawn Fix: After returning from a minigame, the train now respawns exactly where it was before – no more falling into the water.
Tool/Vehicles Fix: It was possible to equip tools (like the hoverboard) inside the train – that’s now blocked.
No Hoverboard on Train: You’ll automatically dismount your hoverboard when entering the train.
👉 In short: You can now enjoy train rides safely and bug-free!
⚽ Playable Soccer Fields
Many players were disappointed that the soccer fields in the Open World were purely decorative.
That’s changed – the soccer fields are now fully playable!
Goals are tracked via a scoring system that resets each round.
Each goal also earns +100 GG$.
👉 Need some quick cash? Grab a ball, score some goals, and get paid! 💸
🗺️ Improved Map Features
The map now includes icon overlays for faster recognition of key locations.
The default map border has been removed for a cleaner look.
Several building names in the map legend have been updated.
Map data (like overlays) are now saved between rounds – no need to reconfigure every time.
🏥 New Property: Hospital
You can now buy the hospital!
Generates a modest income (similar to a standard house).
Twist: When another player dies, you receive their life insurance payout!
🐞 Bug Fixes
Quest bonus cash now displays and functions correctly.
Client-side money desync issues fixed.
Hoverboard fuel is now saved correctly at round end.
RC Monster Truck HUD now loads properly for clients.
Player map marker is now visible even when riding on another player’s quad or jetski.
Fixed incorrect respawns when ending rounds on another player’s jetski.
Fixed fuel type misuse (e.g., using gas on hoverboards or batteries on quads).
