New Features & Systems

Combat & Stun System

  • New stun mechanic: stun other players and earn money rewards

  • VFXAfter-stun protection keeps things fairvisible with VFX indicators
  • Vehicles can be stunned: Hoverboard unmount, Quad force knockback

  • Hoverboard vs Hoverboard collisions: the faster one wins!

  • New Dash Down attack with landing VFX

  • Ground Slam featured in the Startup Video Tutorial with controller support

  • GG-Milk is now drinkable as a consumable: GG-Milk Light for a protective shield, GG-Milk Medium for high jumps with ground smash, GG-Milk Heavy for extended high jumps with ground smash. Oh and GG-Energy for a temporary speed boost

  • Consumables now persist across rounds (saved to your game)

  • Items can now be consumed while riding vehicles

  • New loading UI when consuming items

  • GG-Milk Medium and Heavy high jump with ground smash - each with dedicated SFX and VFX

Making PS5 Ready

  • PlayStation 5 DualSense controller support implemented

  • PS5 controller icons added and polished to match Xbox style

  • Controller data created for different platforms

  • Shop now has full gamepad support

  • Sprinting in Shooter mode works with gamepads

  • Full Map navigation available as overlay checkbox

  • Friend popup now properly focused for controller use

  • PS5 build configs prepared

Open World & NPCs

  • New decorative NPCs spawn throughout the world

  • Crowd AI system with animated NPCs for a more lively open world

  • Beach Chair splines and Beach Crowds set up

  • Bird ambiance added

  • GPUs now rotate, stop on sabotage, and restart on repair

  • Dynamic money rewards for open world activities

Notification System

  • Notification system rebuilt from the ground up

  • Fixed a bug where German servers and English clients would show wrong notification languages

  • Improved notification scaling and font sizes

Visual & Audio Improvements

Graphics

  • New colorgrading applied across all maps (Open World, Lobby, Menu)

  • FloorCrack textures upgraded to 4K

  • All NPC textures rebaked across every zone (Central City, Office Oasis, Lonely Island, Chemical District, Concrete Corner, Rocky Beach, Rocky Hills, Party Circle)

  • Material masks for Characters and NPCs fixed

  • Character skin color corrected after colorgrading

  • Crash VFX polished

Audio

  • Ground Smash SFX added

  • Force Down Smash sound added

  • Improved hard landing SFX

  • Heavy land sound updated

  • Camera shake on GG-Milk landing

  • Boost SFX added for Jetski

  • Attenuation improvements for various sounds
