Highlights

  • New menu effects for mouse overs.

  • Fixed various text inconsistencies (tap-> click). I realized I overlooked some instances and will get them in the next update.

  • New hotkeys

    1. Left Shift to enable speed up.

    2. Left CTRL for showing the enemy path.

    3. Space to Start Waves.

    4. Escape for Pause/Unpause and backing out of some menus.

    5. Q, W, E, A, S, D for controlling tower building.

    6. Arrows can be used to navigate build-able tiles.

  • Enemy path overlay and 2x speed buttons can now be toggled.

  • Improved the overall looked of the options menu and fixed numerous resolution issues. NOTE: The game can no longer be scaled in Windowed mode.

  • Saved game data is now exported to "GeometryDefenseSave.dat" which is located in "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Zebec Games\Geometry Defense" on Windows.

Known Issues

  • Mac/Linux does not clear the enemy path. Once enabled it stays on until restart. Can no longer reproduce - anyone still seeing this?

  • Enabling the path when the build menu up will also cause it to become stuck in an enabled state.

  • Using Fullscreen can have issues when ALT+TAB is used. Typically the resolution will become messed up. This seems to be an engine issue but I am looking for a fix.

  • Sword ability still not usable via hotkey.

Next Update Focus

  • Key re-mapping and option menu enhancements.

  • Build menu revamp.

On the Horizon

  • Sandbox mode/options for Endless mode.

  • Campaign overhaul.

  • New enemies and towers.
