v1.7.002 Release Notes
Fixed issues with the confirmation overlay on tower build buttons.
Add confirmation to the tower sell button.
Implemented confirmation settings in Options for sell/build/upgrade (build+upgrade share a setting).
Potential Fix for Sappers hitting the core unintentionally. They should only collide with cores if there are no towers they can attach to.
Tweaked rocket projectile rotation - looks better and nerfs accuracy (more changes to come).
Extended Tower Stats Panel to include unique icons for Credits/Buffs to better display Banker and Buffer towers.
Enemy shields and core spawn selection now part of the procedural wave system. Now waves should be identical between playthroughs.
Fixed bug where Profile could be displayed in the Game scene after viewing the Encyclopedia.
Increased Sword damage by 50% (200->300 damage).
Added Mutation into the game (similar but different to the system from 1.6 and earlier):
Increases enemy base health dependent on difficulty and wave count.
Normal: After Wave 25 enemy health will increase by 1% per wave.
Hard: After Wave 50 enemy health will increase by 2% per wave.
Nightmare: Mutation is always active and increase enemy health by 3% per wave.
Added icon that appears in the Game scene once Mutation becomes active and displays the current modifier.
Fixing Saves from 1.7.000
Navigate to the Steam install folder (ex: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Geometry Defense Infinite\)
Depending on the platform you may see something different. On Windows 64-bit you will now see two data folders:
GeometryDefense_Data <- old data
GeometryDefense_x64_Data <- new data
In the old data folder the saves will be found in the "saves" folder with structure like:
saves
Profile Name <- folder ex: "Zebec Games"
player.save <- the save file has a generic name
In the new data folder (GeometryDefense_x64_Data) you will see (or need to create if it doesn't exist):
savesDir <- move the player.save filer to here and rename it to the profile name (ex: Zebec Games.save)
Sorry for the inconvience - will continue to try to avoid this issue in the future but cannot guarantee it. Good luck and reach out in Discord for help if you get stuck!
Thanks!
