GEODE | 1.0.1 Balance Changes

Balance Changes

  • Boar Tusk drop chance increased [35% -> 50%] "NOBODY GOT A GREEN TUSK YET?"

  • Boar charge attack hitbox areas reduced.

Tuned down costs of most buildings -->>

  • Small Wooden Wall [5 Wood -> 4 Wood] (Plant fiber unchanged)

  • Large Wooden Wall [10 Wood -> 8 Wood] (Plant fiber unchanged)

  • Small Stone Wall [8 Stone -> 6 Stone] (Plant fiber unchanged)

  • Large Stone Wall [12 Stone -> 10 Stone]

  • Wooden Chest [10 Wood -> 6 Wood, 4 Plant Fiber -> 3]

  • Crystal Refinery [5 of each crystal -> 4 of each crystal] (Stone unchanged)

  • Player now gains 5% damage and move speed (additive) upon leveling up

  • Rockies dropped XP increased [5 -> 10]

  • XP is now granted to all towers that contributed to an enemy's death, instead of just the one who dealt the killing blow.

The above tweaks ALL pretty much point to making the game easier. Between the tower XP changes and the way enemies scale, late game should feel much more stable, and maybe even too easy.

Bugfixes

  • Fixed an issue where players (primarily in single player) weren't getting the achievement for defeating the Forest Treant.

  • (Finally) fixed an issue which caused Tooltips to work improperly in games with more than one player :)

  • Environment objects can no longer spawn outside of world boundaries.

  • Forest Treant pathing should be a little more robust, no more stuck in idle animation.

QoL Changes

  • Players can no longer collide with eachother, should feel better running around base

  • Can now click+drag to move inventory items, slightly experimental so please let me know if any issues arise. Looked great in testing though.

I'll be putting my effort towards more content for the foreseeable future now that the game seems much more stable bug-wise! For specifics on what to expect, please refer to the content road map. I hope to be able to share some bigger news within the next few weeks.

As always, thanks for reading!
