  • UI and audio
  • Gameplay
fixedWhen another player is waiting in queue for an online match, you get an indication of that. In the main menu, he text “trouble awaits …” will appear and during a game a small icon in the bottom left corner will let you know that someone is looking for trouble. Another important feature is the presentation of the ladders. They are now presented more cleanly and are thereby much more fun to check and look at. I fixed a number of bugs, including two major ones regarding multiplayer synchronization. Together with some polish to the main menu layout and the statistic display this patch presents another big step forward to a more polished overall experience.
changedQuality of LifeWhile someone is waiting in queue, other players will see the words “trouble awaits …” displayed over their “Play Online” button.
fixedBug FixesThe connection to your opponent in online multiplayer games is terminated only after the win screen has been displayed. This should ensure that when one player wins, the other player always receives the last action.
fixedBug FixesAddressed a bug where you would start with the wrong deck or no deck at all.
changedBug FixesCards that are placed on Secret Stash will now be shown on the end game deck screen as part of the deck.
removedBug FixesWhen your online opponent is trying to scrap a Source using Substation with no Sources in their discard pile, you no longer get an error message.

Quality of Life

  • While someone is waiting in queue, other players will see the words “trouble awaits …” displayed over their “Play Online” button.

  • When playing against Sokras or “pass and play” and a multiplayer lobby opens, an indicator will appear in the bottom left corner letting you know that an online opponent would be available.

Bug Fixes

  • Cards that are placed on Secret Stash will now be shown on the end game deck screen as part of the deck.

  • When your online opponent is trying to scrap a Source using Substation with no Sources in their discard pile, you no longer get an error message.

  • When your online opponent is firing Airship, you no longer see an animation moving a Source to your discard pile.

  • Moved the character lore box back so it would not cover character select after a resolution change or on unusual resolutions.

Polish

  • Improved presentation of the ladder display.

  • Removed transparency from main menu panels to improve readability.

  • Tweaked the way statistics are displayed for greater clarity.

  • In the log, the start of a new turn is indicated by a line break.
