Hey yo! First bigger update is here and it fixes the following:
What changed
- UI and audio
- Gameplay
- Balance
Gems Defenders changes
Fixes bug that caused News window to pop up way too often.
Leaving Survival, Merchant or Story levels early to not award player with experience and gold.
A lot of typos and grammar mistakes have been fixed in both Czech and English language.
It also brought the following community requested changes and Quality of Life improvements:
Removed blocking property of cracked gems.
Points to obtain gold coin has been decreased from 25 to 10.
Cooldown length and mana cost is now part of talent description for all spells.
As part of feedback from various people I received a lot of complains about the game being little bit too difficult and punishing. As a way to aid that I decided to remove the blocking property of cracked gems completely so these are now purely aesthetic. Also a lot of people complained about not being able to afford town upgrades or talent resets even after playing through half of the story campaign. For that reasons I decided to make it way easier to acquire gold by decreasing the point threshold to 10 points from previous 25. These two changes should make the game noticeably easier while also keeping the intended difficulty of fights as is. But because I do understand that different people like different difficulties I am planning on introducing difficulty slider in some of the future updates.
