addedGreetingsI hope you had a great, cozy month. For us, it was a challenging but wholesome stretch full of satisfying work. All of our team members are focused on making the game playable, having fun while building it, and giving it as much soul and love as possible. We’re incredibly grateful that people already like it and are wishlisting it. It feels like a blessing. Your kind comments and feedback genuinely fuel us. So as I was saying, it’s been challenging. We prototyped lots of scenes, trying out as many possibilities as we could and experimenting with new ideas. And of course, we ran into technical issues along the way. That’s just part of game development at its core. A-) One of our scenes didn’t work well in Unity, which meant we had to come up with fast solutions or we were going to get stuck in development. We’re mainly a 2D game, but we decided to try a 3D approach for one of the scenes to make the development process a bit smoother. We gave it our best shot and shared it with people for feedback.Steam post imageSteam post imageWe know it’s not perfect, but it’s just an experiment and an early WIP. And not every scene will be in 3D. We’re trying to make the most of it while staying true to our 2D style so we don’t lose the charm of our beautiful world. B-) Making the Gems So one of our big challenges was our gems. They needed to be fully 3D, with proper cuts, UVs, and everything. They couldn’t stay 2D, but we also didn’t want to lose their charm. They’re precious, they’re valuable, and they’re the main focus of the game. They need to glow, shine, and feel truly attractive. So we gave it a shot. Steam post imageThey are still wip but they looks so majestic ı love them . We hope you love and like em too . C-)Making the map Making the map was a whole process. It’s the part we poured the most work and heart into. We couldn’t be happier seeing how many people loved it. We tried to create a colorful, cozy, wholesome, unique map that truly stands out. We also want to make it feel even more alive by adding cute sheep and cozy little creatures wandering around.Steam post image D-)Prototyping scenes Beyond the map, gems, and everything else, our main focus was prototyping our game scenes. From the workshop to digging, choosing biomes, selecting areas, and processing gems, we tested everything through rapid prototypes. We worked on technical solutions while adding more charm to each scene. It was genuinely fun, and we’re happy with the hard work we put in. Every attempt brought us closer to the cozy, whimsical world we’re aiming for. Steam post image
