changedIt’s been a while. We haven't posted a devlog in a few months because we put our heads down and focused on building. A lot has changed, and Gemmy Gems is starting to play like the cozy gem shop management game we envisioned. Since we have so much to share, we are splitting this update into two parts!
changed🔄 Connecting the Gameloop The core flow is now fully playable. You can dig up raw stones, process them, manage your inventory, and deal with customers. The shop management side is finally taking center stage.
added💎 Gem Processing Minigames We reworked the processing area to include new minigames for cutting and polishing. Instead of just clicking a button, your skill at the workbench now directly affects the final gem.Steam post image
changed✨ Shader and Visual Updates We gave our gem shaders an update so they catch the light better and look nicer on your shop displays. We also made a few visual tweaks to make the shop and environment feel warmer.Steam post image
