Gem SelectNew UI for a grid of Gems
Upon re-visiting Gem Select in the same session, remember the previous selections of Gems
AnimationsNew air hitstun animations for all chars (except BARRY-350 as he already had one)
All characters = Airborne attack animations to be more natural (point toes down at least)
Bonso = air idle animation is changed to crouching anim
Leznever = L+H+EX versions of Souffle to have arms at a deeper angle
Input ReaderSummary of changes to the input reader are: #1 = Less accidental special moves (especially after Blood/Stardust Gem Singulars) #2 = Super moves are easier to do (e.g., if double quarter-circle, you can do: one QCF, wait/walk/etc, one QCF)
Decrease leniency for doing special moves [This is so special moves do not execute as easily when doing the motion, then continue walking, then press an attack]
For motion inputs for when the character is in pre-jump or early in rising jumping frames, the leniency is still extended (to the same as before this patch)
For Super moves, adjust the leniency if the input had two separate motions (e.g. if it is a double quarter-circle forward, there is an extra buffer before the second quarter-circle)
After executing a Special move, change it so that motion cannot be re-used for another Special (but OK for for Super move inputs) [This is notably for after a Blood/Stardust Gem Singular, where pressing an attack button after continued to use that quarter-circle input]
Character SelectMove grid at start so it is completely out of the view at first
SFXIncrease volume of "hover" (navigating menu buttons, character colors in Character Select, etc.)
Increase volume of "click" (clicking menu buttons, confirming character colors in Character Select, etc.)
Super FlashShow shaking Stardust Gem during its Cosmos activation
Rename Stardust's Gem Cosmo to "The World" (from "Stardust: The World")
Command ListRename "Gem Cosmos" back to "Gem Cosmo"
For Gem Cosmo row, add note for Cosmo Super
Combo Trials3 new failure messages (435 total)
