addedTower boss reactions. Each Tower floor's boss may now react to your chosen combat strategy. A Punishing or Defensive boss makes reckless assaults far riskier and rewards caution; a Cunning or Offensive boss punishes patience and rewards aggression. Balanced is always the safe hedge. The floor's reaction and how it shifts each strategy's risk and reward are shown before you commit, so Aggressive is no longer the automatic best choice on every floor.
changedNOTE: I'm working on balance on this, so it will evolve in the coming weeks.
changedAbility-ready portrait glow. A subtle cyan glow now appears behind an adventurer's portrait when their signature active ability is charged and ready to fire on their next deployment — visible anywhere the portrait shows, from the party builder to the roster. NOTE: Don't like it? Turn it off under Settings → Display → Ability Ready Glow.
addedTrophy Room. Your Crown Cup pedigree now has its own dedicated 🏆 Trophy Room sub-tab on the CCL screen, gathering your podium history, postgame Era of Champions titles, and a summary of your Hall of Fame milestones into a single trophy case. NOTE: I'll make this look more fancy over the next few patches.
changedOne-click Auto Train. Select an adventurer and a prominent "⚡ Auto Train (picks best program)" button now enrolls them in auto-training with the best program in a single click — no more picking a program, toggling, and starting separately.

──────────────────────── NEW FEATURES ────────────────────────

  • Doom Deadline is now optional. Toggle on/off the 1,000 year deadline or drop it to 50 years to turn up the pressure. Toggle it off entirely to play forever. The Crown Cup League mode keeps the Portal sealed, so the deadline doesn't apply there.

──────────────────────── QUALITY OF LIFE ────────────────────────

  • One-click Auto Train. Select an adventurer and a prominent "⚡ Auto Train (picks best program)" button now enrolls them in auto-training with the best program in a single click — no more picking a program, toggling, and starting separately.

  • One-click best scout. Clicking the primary Scout button on a recruit now immediately assigns your best idle scout, instead of opening a picker to scroll through.

  • Set auto-renew at hire and extension. A "🔄 Auto-renew this contract" checkbox now appears when hiring adventurers, hiring or retiring staff, and extending contracts — so you can set the renew flag right there instead of returning to the registry afterward.

  • Accept all incoming trades. Markets now have an Accept-All button beside Decline-All that bulk-accepts every affordable material-trade offer across all guilds at once. High-stakes deals — poaching and incoming-adventurer trades — are excluded and still handled individually. If resources run out mid-batch, the rest are skipped safely.

  • Draggable Founding Tasks. The Founding Tasks overlay shown after starting a new guild can now be dragged freely around the screen, clamps to the viewport, and remembers its position — matching the Growth Tasks panel.

  • Clearer Crown certification requirements. The Crown Admin screen now lists every requirement for your next tier — active roster, quests, raids, Tower progress, and Crown Cup results — not just Renown and Gold. If you apply with field requirements unmet, you'll be warned that denial is likely and would start a reapply cooldown.

  • A roster rejection that names a number. When the Crown denies certification for too small a roster, the letter now states the exact minimum required instead of vaguely citing "minimum operational capacity."

──────────────────────── BALANCE ────────────────────────

  • Loyal veterans in New Game+. The party you carry into New Game+ now serves at a loyalty rate — roughly 75% off market wage — instead of full end-game pricing that bricked a fresh Tier-1 treasury. They followed you back through the Portal out of belief, not coin. The discount applies to their initial contract; later extensions re-price at market once your economy can sustain it. The party-select screen now previews each party's weekly loyalty payroll and your starting treasury.

  • Choose your New Game+ blessing. The Sage's Gift in New Game+ now lets you deliberately pick which blessing carries your legends forward, with the random "Surprise Me" roll still available for those who want to leave it to fate.

  • Early graduation actually works. Academy trainees can now graduate early once they've completed one full year of study (two semesters), rather than waiting for age 18 — which previously left almost no window before they graduated on schedule anyway.

  • Ambition rewards always land. Completing an ambition now reliably delivers its reward. Permanent stat bonuses raise the relevant stat ceiling (up to the hard cap) so a maxed adventurer no longer loses the gain, and morale rewards no longer vanish against the cap.

NOTE

Ambitions are really important in this universe, but that importance is not felt in the game as it is now. Expect to see me messing with these to enhance the impact of these bad boys.

Teaser

A more in-depth ambition that results in evolvinh the adventurer's class into another.

──────────────────────── BUG FIXES ────────────────────────

  • Deleted saves stay deleted. Deleting your active save slot in-game no longer resurrects it when you return to the main menu — and can no longer overwrite a new game you've started.

  • Guild Block filters fixed. You can now dismiss and restore rivals directly from the rival detail panel, so the "Dismissed" filter finally has something to show. The "Won't deal" filter now correctly surfaces rivals who refuse to trade with you.

  • League staff duplication. In league mode, scouts, crafters, and other staff you've hired no longer reappear in the recruit pool each tick where they could be hired again into duplicates.
