Gang of Frogs changes
It's the first day back from easter break at Aska Studios and we thought it would be good to kick off these more casual posts as a recurring segment to keep all of you up to date on the game and the team.
Starting off, Gang of Frogs is approaching 90.000 wishlists, which is incredible! Thanks to every one of you for the support, we've been very stoked to see such an increase in a pretty short timespan.
The team grew in size recently, as we welcomed our new Game Designer, Marc, aboard. This has until now been a vacant role, fulfilled by the combined efforts of the team, led by our game director. The fact that we've now got a dedicated game designer is something we're all very excited by - there are positive things in store for the project! Marc is already getting on top of things and coming up with great ideas.
After the last public playtest back in January we spent time looking through player feedback, and have since iterated on almost every system in the game. Levels, enemies, the character, shops, the card game, weapons, networking and audio are among them, but we've also been working on new content. New enemies and characters are taking shape, for example this approved concept of the upcoming card merchant! Quite dapper, huh?
The team has been having a lot of fun playing development builds lately, and it's because a lot of the contributions of the last few months - big and small - have culminated in something we can all get behind. We can't wait for you to try it out in our next public playtest very soon!
Thank you for reading, and until next time,
the Gang of Frogs team
