addedSummer seems to have arrived here in Iceland, and we've been using the unrelenting sunlight to work on a bunch of new features ☀️.
changedOne of the most prominent of these features is the map system; a UI that shows you the structure of your run before you commit to a path. Consisting of combat stages and reward rooms, you'll be able to see the layout of your run and plan your path accordingly, making strategic decisions when choosing where to go next and which rewards to seek.
addedThe vendors themselves tie into this, and we've been expanding on that front as well. If you've participated in our previous playtests, you'll be familiar with Bono's Menya and Gunther's Emporium . These vendors will still exist but some aspects of their presentation are currently being tweaked. New vendors are being added - each with a clearer role. Below is a concept of one of said vendors, have a guess what it'll be for in the comments! 🤖
