Early game over feedback

If the game ends before the number of days is finished, you now also get some information on why it failed. Reaching the end of demo (day 0) also has multiple endings depending on your decisions.

In the end screens we've also added a link to optional open a web browser and go to the demo feedback survey - we greatly appreciate your feedback from this early demo.

Text too fast

One comment that kept coming up was text being too fast to keep up. In the final game this will be part of the game options, but for the demo there's a few things you can now do to manage text speed:

  • Text was made a little slower again by default

  • You can click left mouse button or press space bar to advance text

  • You can now scroll up to continue reading text, and new lines added do not bump you to bottom of chat window

Editing pass of text

There was another editing pass across the whole demo to make text clearer, as well as some spelling errors

Next/Previous buttons in intro & outro (end game) screens more visible

Some players found it hard to spot the arrows with the previous color scheme. The arrow button colors were changed to stand out more easily.
