addedThis is not a small game for me. The vision behind Funorbit is much bigger than simply releasing a finished version as soon as possible. I want to keep adding the mechanics, features, systems, content, and story that I believe the game deserves.
addedFor me, Funorbit is a long-term project. I want to spend the next year or two adding a lot of value to it. I want to make the world richer, the systems deeper, the space gameplay more interesting, and the overall experience closer to the game I have always wanted to play myself.

This is not a small game for me. The vision behind Funorbit is much bigger than simply releasing a finished version as soon as possible. I want to keep adding the mechanics, features, systems, content, and story that I believe the game deserves.

There is a lot I want to build, both on planets and in space, especially in space. Exploration, survival, crafting, vehicles, orbital mechanics, space travel, discoveries, dangers, story moments, and a world that keeps becoming deeper over time are all part of the long-term vision.

At the same time, I don’t want to develop the game completely in isolation. I want to start getting feedback from players while the game is still growing. That feedback will be very valuable to understand what feels good, what needs improvement, what is confusing, what is missing, and what parts of the game players enjoy the most.

My current plan is to hopefully release Funorbit in Early Access around August 2026. The goal is to release it with everything I can give to the game up to that point, in the most stable and bug-free state possible.

Early Access will not mean that the game is finished. It will mean that the foundation is there, that the world is playable, and that players can start experiencing the direction of the game while I continue expanding it.

For me, Funorbit is a long-term project. I want to spend the next year or two adding a lot of value to it. I want to make the world richer, the systems deeper, the space gameplay more interesting, and the overall experience closer to the game I have always wanted to play myself.

I am building Funorbit because I genuinely enjoy playing it and working on it. It is the kind of game I always wanted to exist, so I am building it first for myself, but also for players who might enjoy the same kind of experience.

Thank you to everyone following the development. Your feedback, wishlists, and support will help shape the future of Funorbit.
