We are continuing with the development of remaining crucial functionality (namely, guidance), as we are still in a bit of a limbo regarding the method of publishing this title. We have also initiated discussions with Microsoft about the potential for distributing this title through XBox Live for Windows platform. Hopefully this will be resolved within the next few weeks.
Other development progress milestones:
High fidelity re-entry physics, with ability to insert high-precision AOA-dependent drag and lift coefficients from NASA wind tunnel tests
Localized shield heating effects and re-entry plumes
Improvements to re-entry parachute sequences, with new skinned animation effects
Overall engine performance improvements
We're also working hard to improve the demo install progress and we'll have the demo update in the next few weeks. In the meantime, check out this awesome video of the SLS launch, with updated sound and visual fx:
