Awesome new re-entry effects

This is how NASA's Orion capsule will re-enter Earth's atmosphere: It will assume an upside-down attitude, with the bottom part of the shield forward at angle-of-attack (AOA) at around 20 degrees.

This is how NASA's Orion capsule will re-enter Earth's atmosphere: It will assume an upside-down attitude, with the bottom part of the shield forward at angle-of-attack (AOA) at around 20 degrees. This will result in a gentler, lower-G re-entry, with a localized heating on the bottom part of the shield (as seen in the pic!)

Get your AOA re-entry angle wrong, and the capsule will induce massive G-forces, destroying it and killing the crew!
