I hope you've been enjoying Steam Next Fest as much as we have!
We're updating our demo build to fix a bunch of issues players have pointed out.
Fixed an issue where the tutorial skeletons wouldn't spawn correctly (shout-out to Untouchable!)
Fixed an issue where the tutorial skeletons would freeze after being parried
Added in a slo-mo effect when the player is in Fortification Mode, allowing them more time to think, navigate UI and place defenses down
Added in some extra effects on some equipment to make them more powerful
Added in the Deploy Ally feature, so players can bring in and command a fellow Paladin, Elias on to the battlefield in the final TD section
Fixed an issue that caused the boss to freeze sometimes
Fixed an issue where the Orc Bulwark would inaccurately predict player position and miss with their charged attack
Fixed an issue where the Orc Bulwark would try and cast "Protect" on an ally too far away
Improved the enemy movement predictor VFX during tower defense segments
Now purchased skills get slotted immediately into a skill slot if there is an empty one
Updated some skill preview movies
Improved the wording on some of the tutorials
Added in missing VFX and SFX when leveling up
Increased the attack cooldown for the Goblin Slingers
Fixed an issue where right joystick didn't scroll dialogue
Titus' dialogue is now instant instead of coming in word by word
You can now sprint infinitely in the Castle
Made some changes to the boss cutscene
