Frog Island changes
Thank you to everyone who has tried out the demo during the first few days of Next Fest, it's been so fun watching everyone play the game and discovering all the lil things to do on the island :p
Just putting out a quick QoL patch based on feedback provided by the community that will improve a few aspects of the game, notably fishing and accessibiltiy:
Completing fishing minigames now gives your progress bar a small boost!
Fishing minigames are now much less punishing if failed
Added a guiding arrow during cooking to guide players on where to drop ingredients into the pot
Removed wavy text all throughout the game, it was just too much on the eyes and didn't really add much to the overall experience other than cause motion sickness
- Improved feedback in merchant shopBuy buttons will now be shaded and disabled if you do not have enough coins/gems to purchase an item
Ocean wave shaders have been reduced/slowed down to minimize motion sickness from fishing. If you are still experiencing motion sickness due to the water, please turn on "Reduce Motion" to disable ocean shaders!
That's all for now, stay tuned for more patches coming this week!
If you have any suggestions or feedback on how to improve controller support, or general bugs/feedback to report, please let me know in the Bug Report Form here!
Also, if you've been enjoying the demo so far, please consider leaving a review on the demo store page! It really helps improve visibility in Steam's algorithm and lets them know if people love/hate the game :p A moment of your time would go a long way!
Thanks again, and continue having fun with the demo!!
