Fragmented Soul: Blackrock changes
This update is all about one thing: performance. And then some more performance. And while we were at it, we fixed things that should not have been broken in the first place.
Highlights:
Massive performance improvements across the board
Troop AI logic refined and stabilized
Fixed an issue where squad members would often hesitate or not attack enemies properly
Smarter target selection and retargeting for both squad and normal troops
Reduced unnecessary calculations in combat-heavy situations
UI visual polish with no performance penalty (yes, really)
Various bug fixes and under-the-hood cleanups
Developer note: This update cost a few sleepless nights… but honestly, it was worth it. Fixing performance and AI is exhausting — and somehow still fun.
TL;DR: Runs smoother, troops behave smarter, squad actually shoots things, UI looks better. And yes — performance, performance, performance.
