addedOur team chat has been on fire since early this month—seriously, the art debates have been heated, passionate, and wildly energetic. The best part? All that creative chaos actually sparked some brand-new gameplay mechanics along the way!
added❗️ We've Added a Major New MechanicAfter our small-scale playtests, we wanted to give the in-turn progression more depth. We've added a player-choice buff system: during your turns, you can spend gold to pick one of three randomly drawn shard cards to upgrade your stats.
added❗️ Tons of Visual TweaksSteam post imageWe're leaning harder into the magic theme too—say hello to the new magic circle panel behind your draw and discard piles. (A background overlay is coming down the line to tie the whole look together.)

❗️ We've Added a Major New Mechanic

After our small-scale playtests, we wanted to give the in-turn progression more depth. We've added a player-choice buff system: during your turns, you can spend gold to pick one of three randomly drawn shard cards to upgrade your stats.

This is still very much an early prototype, and it's already live in the PLAYTEST build. We want to hear your honest thoughts after trying it out!

If it doesn't feel fun, we'll cut it. If it shows promise, we're all ears for suggestions on how to refine it.
