We are extremely thankful to everyone for the feedback and support at our Steam Page launch! 🙏
From what we learnt, we decided to take our game in the direction that is:
More battlefield TBS focused — learning from Advance Wars, Wargroove, Into the Breach that Steam player loves.
Less historical 4X focused — not trying to be a full-on Civilization, but extending the TBS genre by learning from Polytopia.
Important features*
Satisfying combat / combos game feel
Great replayable small map campaigns (non-dragging)
Exciting gameplay progressions / upgrades for Roguelite
Fun AI
More platforms & cross-platform support
Multiplayer + Online multiplayer matching
Mods support
Map editor (?)
*TBC after play testing at demo
Will not do
Deep city building / economy
Tech trees
Layering more systems (diplomacy, religion etc.)
Giant map sizes for epic empires
So don't worry the game is definitely in active development, but please do expect changes and upgrades to the direction vs what is currently on the Steam page!

Yes, in hindsight our game does feel more like a classic charming battlefield TBS than 4X… but hey, we're human, not dino. 😅
