  • Added a new warding totem item. These will prevent enemies from spawning in a certain radius when placed. Can currently be bought from the witch doctor, found in the starting island swamp biome

  • Improved performance when rendering a large amount of hole tiles

  • Reduced the frequency of crashes caused by alt tabbing

  • Fixed some tile transitions using incorrect sprites

  • Jumping enemies such as slimes can no longer jump over taller walls

  • Monster aggro range is now different depending on the biome. (Early game biomes should feel more peaceful)

  • Updated some old artwork

  • Fixed tile sprites jumping by a single pixel when rendered at the top edge of the screen

  • Fixed an issue with ghost items remaining after crafting from nearby inventories. This should also fix the issue with stacks being deleted after depositing into chests

  • Slightly reduced the number of max enemies present in the dungeon biome

  • Fixed an issue with the campfire no longer providing its buff after switching levels

  • Fixed an issue with some tiles blocking light

  • Light will no properly calculate when placing a tile

  • Entities will now load in their correct positions

  • Creatures that get trapped in a solid tile will now be moved to a nearby free tile

Current issues and plans

The red teleporter pad found in the new area, is the end of the current chapter and will be added in the next update! Level lighting is sometimes incorrectly calculated when loading a save file. This can be fixed by removing or placing a tile that affects light, such as a torch or solid tile
