For Humanity changes
Hello, good evening to all!
Here is my first real update of For Humanity (apart from the patches)
This update mainly focuses on Quality Of Life, because indeed, many of your feedback highlighted the lack of understanding around certain features.
I have therefore remedied this and added numerous feedback, UI elements, and Gameplay to help you in getting started with the game.
I also took the opportunity to make many fixes on the less blocking bugs encountered during the first week of the game, many of them have been fixed and for those whose I was not able to reproduce, I added more security to limit or avoid their reproduction. If however some of these bugs happen again, you can obviously send me an In-Game report via the Bug Report Menu, but also open a discussion in the community hub, or send it to me on Discord.
I hope that all these modifications and additions will help you to better appreciate the game.
We will meet in January for the update 0.2 which will include many changes, with the addition of the day night cycle, the addition of quests, a fine-tuning of the AI, and some content additions such as new weapons and other items.
Here is the PatchNote with all the modifications:
Features:
Add interactable book inside camp (beside the map) to help player with gameplay features.
Fix:
Fix Storage upgrade not saved.
Fix Storage T2 chests not interactable.
Fix "Waiting for player..." loading infinite loop.
Fix empty mag ammo bug.
Fix player colliders height not changing with posture.
Fix weapon still in hand while using item.
Fix weapon keep aiming while player menu is open.
QoL:
Slightly improve difficulty. (Reduce Zombies attack time, increase zombies spawn).
Reload can now load a magazine into the weapon if it does not already have one.
Upgrade loots inside South Tunnel area.
Adding new "Waste" loot category.
Added "Weapon Slot" to see weapon equipped in player's hand.
Added tooltips on over items.
Quick-move items target storage if possible, otherwise, first found based on compatibility.
Added message when trying to reload without available mag.
Added message when trying to check mag on an empty weapon.
Know issues:
some of the bug reports could not be reproduced, do not hesitate to send reports if necessary.
(Several security features have nevertheless been added to reduce the chances of reproduction and/or correct the bug.)
Planning:
Except for bugfix, next update should be 0.2 and it will concern the addition of the day-night cycle, new zones, new areas etc.
