Following Seas changes
This update includes remaining fixes and changes originally slated for the previous update that was released early due to some game-breaking issues. The remaining fixes primarily center on the longline fishing system, and the introduction of ocean currents.
General:
Fixed issue where pausing the game would allow some ships to continue moving for a short time, desyncing Player local position aboard.
Fixed several persistent log exceptions that would repeat infinitely under some circumstances. (notably regarding navmesh agents.)
Fixed missing interaction highlight for some items.
Fixed some geometry holes in various places.
Fixed ability to switch to exterior view while using the map, resulting in odd snapping behavior of the camera.
Significantly reformatted the in-game manual accessed through interaction objects/mapping interface, and added additional data to it. (Note -- not yet applied to the docked version in the general menu.)
Removed auto mip-maps from manual images, as they tended to appear in reduced resolutions.
Caravel Troller:
Fixed multiple issues that would cause fishing lines to stop reeling.
Added several safety measures to ensure fish positions are compliant with requirements.
Increased weight of ... weights ... so that fishing lines will be pulled into deeper water, allowing more hooks to be in the water at a time.
Fixed inconsistent despawn of hooks when despawning caravel troller.
Corsair Xebec:
Fixed several additional issues that could result in high speeds directly into the wind.
Moved thrust calculation to influence the hull separately for each sail, rather than a blended average. This may increase difficulty in getting everything in trim, but should result in more realistic force application/cancelling forces.
Padewakang:
Added the missing mooring lines.
Changes:
Slightly decreased hydrodynamic drag on all ships. This will result in slight increases to top speeds.
Added a first pass of an ocean current system. Refer to the map for a general view of where currents are present. These currents, at least to start with, are fairly weak, around 2km/hr at their strongest point, but over time can still result in time saved (or lost). Additionally, you will now need to ensure you've anchored your ship when disembarked, as otherwise it may not be where you left it.
