Today sees a smaller update in terms of content -- my main focus has been on trying to resolve many issues reported regarding issues around AMD GPU's, especially after recent driver updates. Still, there are a number of fixes here, particularly regarding the Trolling Caravel.

Fixes:

Significantly reduced vertical jitter for the player.

Fixed several unresolved script warnings and errors that could clog up the player log files.

Improved trim strength on the Xebec to better maintain heading.

Fixed missing material on Caravel Troller.

Fixed misaligned LOD objects on Caravel Troller.

Vastly increased the performance of the gaff rig -- without cargo tested speeds reached just shy of 9 knots. (4.5m/s)

Improved ability of Caravel Troller to maintain course.

Fixed fish in Troller hold being no longer visible upon load.

Significantly reduced hook desync when operating the gurdies.

Fixed cases where entering the settings menu multiple times in a session would result in player desyncing from parent objects.

Fixed issue where under certain circumstances, opening the menu could cause ships to become stuck.

Changes:

Split elements of the two largest islands, Waypoint Isle and The Keyhole, into additional subscenes to hopefully reduce GPU induced crashes on loading a very large amount of details in a single async-operation.

Added Vsync settings. If you are experiencing very poor framerate, slow motion gameplay, or crashes on AMD Gpu's -- try to disable. This *may* help. I am actively working to understand what it going on here, as it's seemingly a new issue.

Other reported changes outside of the game that may solve the issue for some players:

Disable Vsync through the GPU software. Disable Gsync. Run game in Windows 8/10 compatibility.

I have not observed these to be effective -- but some players have seen results, so I will leave them here.

Significantly increased turning performance on the Lateen Xebec.

Made tutorial popups occupy less of the screen, and improved cropping on many images.
