addedNew FeaturesWind Turbine Mk1 - A new wind-powered electricity generator.
changedImprovementsManual Belt & Pipe Building - Belt and pipe placement is now fully manual and predictable: lay a run, toggle mode for sloped belts or vertical pipes, and each section chains onto the last so you can route in one continuous flow.
addedImprovementsBuild Tool Options - Added an Auto-Chain toggle for belt and pipe placement, and a Drag Build Delay setting that stops a quick click from accidentally laying a second parallel line of belts, pipes, or buildings.
removedImprovementsDemolish Belts & Pipes - The Demolish tool now removes belts and pipes alongside buildings: click removes a single tile (drag to sweep), Ctrl removes the whole connected line, and area demolish clears every tile in the box. The separate Remove Belt and Remove Pipe tools have been removed; the Shift/Ctrl quick-delete while building still works.
removedImprovementsRemoved First-Person Mode - The separate first-person mode that locked the cursor to the screen has been removed. You can still zoom fully in for first person view.
changedImprovementsFaster Fluid Simulation - Optimized fluid simulation and fluid rendering for better performance.

FluxWerks v0.2.12 - 14-06-2026

New Features

  • Wind Turbine Mk1 - A new wind-powered electricity generator.

Improvements

  • Manual Belt & Pipe Building - Belt and pipe placement is now fully manual and predictable: lay a run, toggle mode for sloped belts or vertical pipes, and each section chains onto the last so you can route in one continuous flow.

  • Build Tool Options - Added an Auto-Chain toggle for belt and pipe placement, and a Drag Build Delay setting that stops a quick click from accidentally laying a second parallel line of belts, pipes, or buildings.

  • Demolish Belts & Pipes - The Demolish tool now removes belts and pipes alongside buildings: click removes a single tile (drag to sweep), Ctrl removes the whole connected line, and area demolish clears every tile in the box. The separate Remove Belt and Remove Pipe tools have been removed; the Shift/Ctrl quick-delete while building still works.

  • Removed First-Person Mode - The separate first-person mode that locked the cursor to the screen has been removed. You can still zoom fully in for first person view.

  • VSync & Frame Rate Options - Display settings now let you choose a VSync interval and set a frame rate limit when VSync is off.

  • Better Fluid Leveling - Fluids now level out more reliably instead of stalling in uneven, sloped pools.

  • Faster Fluid Simulation - Optimized fluid simulation and fluid rendering for better performance.

Visual improvements

  • Belt & Pipe Build Animation - Newly placed belts and pipes now do animation on build instead of popping in instantly.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed elevators showing an internal part name when selected, and elevators and routers being labeled "Belt" in the hover tooltip; both now show their proper name.

  • Fixed a crash when using rotate or quick-delete over an elevator while in belt build mode.

  • Fixed belts sometimes mis-connecting or mishandling items when a straight belt ran right alongside the edge of a ramp.

  • Fixed downward ramps being allowed to bury their lower half in terrain.

  • Fixed items on a router's free output line briefly stopping and losing throughput when one of the router's other outputs was backed up.

  • Fixed a downward-sloping belt not passing items onto the belt it connects to when that belt was placed, or removed and rebuilt, after the slope.

  • Fixed items on a fully-loaded belt feeding an elevator stuttering at the elevator entrance and slightly lowering throughput at some elevator heights.

  • Fixed belts and pipes being impossible to click or inspect when a building sat behind them; selection now picks whichever is actually in front of the cursor.

Balance Changes

  • Battery MK 2 now unlocks from a new Battery Storage II technology that requires Industrial Science Packs, instead of being unlocked together with Battery MK 1 in the Battery Storage technology.
