FluxWerks changes
FluxWerks v0.2.19 - 19-06-2026
New Features
Clickable notifications - alerts now include links: location alerts (like a depleted extractor) open the map and drop a pin at the spot, while others link to the relevant help page or the statistics panel.
Improvements
Map follow mode - the map's Center button now locks the view to follow the player.
Single power alert - low power and a full power outage now show as one alert that updates in place, instead of two separate notifications that could flicker back and forth.
Computing shortage warning - you now get an alert when your factory needs more computing than it has.
Map pins - the pins panel now resizes to fit pin names without a scrollbar, lines coordinates up in a column, and shows the full name on hover.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a rare crash when demolishing a fluid extractor or fluid output.
Fixed nanobots getting stuck until manually cancelled on a drain designation when the fluid drained away or flowed off before they reached it.
Fixed the area tool's raise/lower needing two presses to change a 1-block-high selection.
Fixed switching between tools, buildings, and placement modes sometimes locking you out of selecting and interacting with buildings.
Fixed switching directly between a tool and its area version (and between tools) needing an extra key press instead of switching in one.
Fixed the area selection box keeping the previous tool's color when switching directly between area modes (e.g. area mine to area demolish).
Fixed map pin labels being hard to read over bright terrain by adding a darker background behind the text.
Fixed the building-destroyed-by-heat alert popping up when trees were destroyed.
Balance Changes
Computing - your robot's built-in computing increased from 20 to 40, giving more early-game headroom before you need to build Computers.
FluxWerks v0.2.18 - 18-06-2026
Improvements
Customizable Materials Bar - You can now customize the layout of the material bar by clicking on the wrench icon and adjust number of rows and columns. Items are also draggable vertically and horizontally so they can be re-ordered.
Recipe Copy/Paste Hints - The tooltip for a building with a changeable recipe now shows the controls to copy and paste its recipe (Shift+RMB copy and Shift+LMB paste).
Bug Fixes
Fixed fluids slowly multiplying over time in closed loops.
Fixed autosaves sometimes erroring and then stopping after returning to the game when it was out of focus.
Fixed a key press sometimes registering twice, which could leave you stuck in free camera mode.
FluxWerks v0.2.17 - 18-06-2026
Improvements
Better Saving - Saving no longer temporarily freezes the game on large worlds.
Save Corruption Protection - Save files are now verified when loading and your previous save is kept as a backup.
UI Scale for High-Res Displays - The UI scale slider now goes up to 2.0x (was 1.25x).
FluxWerks v0.2.16 - 17-06-2026
New Features
Rolling Sandstorms & Blizzards - Sandstorms now sweep across desert and volcanic regions during windy and stormy weather, and blizzards roll through tundra and arctic regions during windy, rainy or stormy weather.
Smart Hand-Crafting Chains - Hand-crafting an item now automatically queues all the intermediate items it needs.
Improvements
Routing Overlays - The configuration buttons around routers now keep an even spacing as you zoom out instead of overlapping.
Weather Fog Setting - Added an option to turn weather fog on or off.
Less Intense Fog - Weather fog is now much thinner, especially during storms.
Reorderable Materials Bar - You can now drag items in the materials bar to reorder them. Also the layout was changed to rows with better visibility on numbers.
Bug Fixes
Fixed belt routers getting blocked, having throughput issues and not respecting priority settings.
Fixed router configuration buttons being misplaced when the UI scale was set to anything other than 100%.
