addedThe long wait is finally over: Fluff's Adventure is finally playable as a demo! It was a very tedious but ultimately successful time between the Indie Game Fest and now. Over 70 bug fixes later and with a few new features you requested on board, I'm now relatively confident that I can offer you a good gaming experience. And just in time, because...
addedRun, Fluff, run!The most frequently requested feature from you was Fluff's speed: Fluff should also be able to sprint! You're right, of course, and that's why you can now let Fluff run at incredible speed.
changedBetter input instructionsUp to now, it has only been pointed out in various places which button you can use to do certain things, but not what the button press triggers. This has led to some confusion: You thought you could talk to the sad Fluff at the start of the level, but you jumped over it (an unintentional Portal 2 reference at that point)? You didn't know whether you were instructing another Fluff to follow you with a button press or the exact opposite? That's a thing of the past, because now the thought bubbles above Fluff's head also tell you what the button press triggers (most of the time, anyway).
changedThe platform puzzle has been revisedOnly spoiler-free comments here: You were all rightly frustrated by a puzzle that involved a lot of physics. Unfortunately, even in the Unreal Engine, physics simulation is sometimes very unpredictable. That's why I've reworked this puzzle so that you can interact with the objects more easily.
changedThis is the way - to Early Access! With all the changes and the demo now released, the question naturally remains: What's next? Good question, as you can see on the store page, I'm done with the first of six levels. Also, an unannounced feature is almost fully implemented, but not yet tested well enough for me to squeeze it into the demo: Local splitscreen multiplayer!
changedConclusionThank you for your continued interest in my game. I am happy about everyone who enjoys my game. You can still send me any feedback via my Discord server . Of course it will continue and I can promise you this much: the transition to the next level will be dark! If you want to stay up to date, feel free to check out my Twitch channel !

Fluff is at Gamescom!

Yes, you read that right, I can't really believe it yet either. My game will be on show at the world's biggest video games fair alongside the big names in the games industry. That was definitely a big dream of mine that is now coming true. But enough beating about the bush, here are the hard facts.

You'll find me in Hall 10.2 C10g-B019g, which is the stand of the NRW Youth Forum. Here I'm looking forward to presenting Fluff in all its fluffy glory together with three other indie developer teams as part of the Indie Game Hub. There's also something to win, so make sure you stop by!

What has changed in the game?

Let's move on to the content. Things have been a little quieter for me since the Indie Game Fest in June. This was mainly due to the bugs and features that needed my full attention. Let's take a look at the main changes:

Run, Fluff, run!

The most frequently requested feature from you was Fluff's speed: Fluff should also be able to sprint! You're right, of course, and that's why you can now let Fluff run at incredible speed.

Highlighting of interactive objects

Until now, it was too difficult to identify objects in Fluff's world that could be interacted with. There was also the question of how Fluff can interact at all when he doesn't really have any limbs. Both problems have now been solved. For reasons that have not yet been explained, there are slightly futuristic-looking objects in various places in Fluff's world that glow. Fluff also has the power of telekinesis, which has something to do with his antennae. He has already demonstrated this power at the Indie Game Fest, but now it is used throughout the game to move objects. This means: if you see something glowing, Fluff can use it! Provided it's the right color ...

Better input instructions

Up to now, it has only been pointed out in various places which button you can use to do certain things, but not what the button press triggers.

The platform puzzle has been revised

Only spoiler-free comments here: You were all rightly frustrated by a puzzle that involved a lot of physics. Unfortunately, even in the Unreal Engine, physics simulation is sometimes very unpredictable. That's why I've reworked this puzzle so that you can interact with the objects more easily.

This is the way - to Early Access!

In the finished game and the Early Access version, you'll have the opportunity to explore the game in twos and work your way through the puzzles. However, I would like to finish the second level before I give you access to the Early Access version. Personally, I don't think multiplayer alone is enough of a reason to buy the game.

Conclusion

Thank you for your continued interest in my game. I am happy about everyone who enjoys my game. You can still send me any feedback via my Discord server. Of course it will continue and I can promise you this much: the transition to the next level will be dark! If you want to stay up to date, feel free to check out my Twitch channel!

Best regards and have fun Your Kai
