We’re back after a short break with a fresh update! This release focuses primarily on technical improvements, along with a few minor content changes.
The UI and Input subsystems are now fully updated to the newest Unreal Engine standards, delivering greater stability, better performance, and a more unified experience.
General
Characters become available as you unlock new worlds.
Newly unlocked characters have a dialogue.
You can now view a new controller scheme infographic through the game’s options menu.
You can now easily switch between "Jump" and "Bar Control" mechanics with a simple checkbox. Choose the style that fits you best!
Level changes
Improvements have been made to the plant boss fight.
Bug Fix & Technical
Enhanced Input is now working together with Common UI, natively.
The action bar displays all possible action buttons, always aware of context.
Loading time for levels has been optimized.
The loading screen now displays the number of precompiles remaining.
New loading screen images.
Aspect ratios all the way from 16:9 to 32:9 are supported. Super ultra wide is accounted for in the UI.
Flipper trigger button threshold adjusted for gamepads, feeling more responsive.
CPU optimizations are now baked into the different graphics scalability presets.
Unreal Engine version 5.5.
DLSS and FSR updated to latest versions. FSR UI extraction is now enabled.
Steady 60 FPS on the Steam Deck! The frame generation feature is now primarily for conserving battery life when needed.
EOS and Steam SDK updated.
Auth Expiration bug fix.
