Hey Anglers,

We wanted to share a quick update regarding the recent Back to Basics Update on Steam and Epic Games.

First of all, thank you for all the excitement and feedback! It’s been great seeing so many players return to explore the refreshed Lone Star Lake, check out the new Trophy Room, enjoy the update gifts, and experience all the other improvements.

As with any major update, a few issues have popped up, and here’s where things stand:

  • The Feeder and Spinning setup issues in Adventure Missions have been fixed. If you were previously unable to complete these missions, please try again.

  • Reports about missing Bell sounds, overly loud audio effects, and invisible Marker Buoys are being treated as a high priority and are planned to be fixed in the very next patch.

  • Regarding Marker Buoys on Ghent-Terneuzen Canaldue to a miscommunication, the Release Note incorrectly stated that markers would only be removed from Lone Star Lake and Lesni Vila Fisheries. The Canal was also reworked, and its old marker placements were no longer relevant. We apologize for the confusion. All removed buoys have been returned to inventories, and Baitcoins spent on buoy paint have been compensated.
  • We're also working on fixes for the Frankenfish Mount not being placeable for some players in the Trophy Room.

  • Last but not least, some players have experienced FPS drops at Lone Star Lake. Our team is additionally optimizing the location and investigating these performance issues to improve the experience for everyone.

Several other reported issues are currently being addressed, and a patch is already in preparation. We’re also continuing work on bringing the update to all other platforms, so stay tuned!
