changedHello fellow fingerbangers! After a lengthy Christmas break we are right back at it with development and there are some major updates in store for the future, so hopefully you've cracked your knuckles and flexed your fingers in preparation for things to come!
addedThe Immediate FutureOur development roadmap consists of building additional content for the game throughout the spring of 2023, with a major focus being on our most requested addition: new levels. However, with the pressure of a December release date behind us, we have also taken another look at the levels currently in the game, and have had the time to work out some of the changes we wanted to implement originally but lacked either the time or resources to implement before initial release.
changedThe Immediate FutureA demo version of the game will appear on the store page, this is due to us having to preserve a version of the game as it was on release (for bureaucratic reasons with our publisher). This demo version will not be updated or changed in any way going forward.
changedThe Immediate FutureThe current version of the game will continue to receive updates and new content as soon as we manage to create and test them. This can and will include fundamental changes to how the game plays, creating a larger gap between the demo version and the current version.
changedFirst Update To ContentAs we have also had the time to go over some of the content produced by our players and have received plenty of feedback about the current version of the game, our first update will introduce a rework to the way the "Red District" level plays out! We finally have a long-awaited checkpoint available before the boss fight and there have been some changes to the progression throughout the level in order to make it play out more logically. In addition to this we have various small improvements to the boss fight itself. We have also kept some more obscure routes available for any speed demons out there who want to try breaking any existing records on completion time as well.
addedLater Down The LineWhile this initial update only changes existing levels, we are also keeping ourselves busy with the development of new levels, and have several in the works already. On top of this, players can look forward to the addition of both Steam leaderboards as well as achievements in the future. We can't make any promises as to when either the new levels or these new features will be made available to play yet, but we wanted to let our players know that we are indeed working on new content and features!

Hello fellow fingerbangers!
After a lengthy Christmas break we are right back at it with development and there are some major updates in store for the future, so hopefully you've cracked your knuckles and flexed your fingers in preparation for things to come!
Our development roadmap consists of building additional content for the game throughout the spring of 2023, with a major focus being on our most requested addition: new levels. However, with the pressure of a December release date behind us, we have also taken another look at the levels currently in the game, and have had the time to work out some of the changes we wanted to implement originally but lacked either the time or resources to implement before initial release.
With this being the case, our first update to the game will also introduce some small background changes:
A demo version of the game will appear on the store page, this is due to us having to preserve a version of the game as it was on release (for bureaucratic reasons with our publisher). This demo version will not be updated or changed in any way going forward.
The current version of the game will continue to receive updates and new content as soon as we manage to create and test them. This can and will include fundamental changes to how the game plays, creating a larger gap between the demo version and the current version.
We would also like to note that the game will still remain free for anyone to download and play, the introduction of a demo version should not affect our players in any way. If anything, the demo version serves as a piece of history and reminder of where we started from as the game evolves with further development.
First Update To Content
As we have also had the time to go over some of the content produced by our players and have received plenty of feedback about the current version of the game, our first update will introduce a rework to the way the "Red District" level plays out!
Additionally, this update also brings with it some minor changes such as the introduction of ultrawide resolution support, some of which might require further tuning in coming updates. The update is expected to roll out sometime this week, by the 17th of February at the latest. As usual, we welcome all feedback regarding the game and please look forward to more details about specific changes in the upcoming patch notes!
Later Down The Line
While this initial update only changes existing levels, we are also keeping ourselves busy with the development of new levels, and have several in the works already. On top of this, players can look forward to the addition of both Steam leaderboards as well as achievements in the future. We can't make any promises as to when either the new levels or these new features will be made available to play yet, but we wanted to let our players know that we are indeed working on new content and features!
