changedTREASURES for those who seek themIntroducing, the treasures system! If you've been craving the dark power the dungeon promises, look no further than these treasures. There's only one of each to be found on the map, so make sure to fight for them if you want the powers they grant! As for the powers, every treasure offers an initial power boost. Additionally, as you kill enemies and explore the dungeon, you'll get an extra scaling buff for that much extra impact. Treasures can be found by following the treasure chest icon on the map, or killing another player who happens to be carrying one.
addedCURSED CHALICEYou can find the chalice in the throne room, sitting next to the throne itself. Whoever gets to the boss room first has a chance to snatch it from under the boss's nose, and if you do you'll get an extra edge in the boss fight and the run to the exit! The Cursed Chalice adds raw damage to every attack, and a little extra depending on how far you've leveled by that point.
removedOILED WHETSTONEFound in the abandoned laboratory, come across this treasure while exploring for an extra EDGE in combat. The cursed edge this treasure gives your weapon makes it swing faster, increasing attack speed for whoever holds it. However, weapons sharpened by the whetstone lose their blunt edge, and can no longer stun targets with hits as long as you carry the whetstone.
addedLOBBYing for a better tomorrowWe've implemented a new lobby state to our game loop! Before, if you left the game before it got started, your character would be incapacitated and you'd lose all your hard earned items. But no longer! Now, you can safely leave the start room up until the rounds properly kick off. To facilitate this, you can no longer use consumables or drop items until the round starts.

TREASURES for those who seek them
Introducing, the treasures system!
CURSED CHALICE
You can find the chalice in the throne room, sitting next to the throne itself. Whoever gets to the boss room first has a chance to snatch it from under the boss's nose, and if you do you'll get an extra edge in the boss fight and the run to the exit! The Cursed Chalice adds raw damage to every attack, and a little extra depending on how far you've leveled by that point.
OILED WHETSTONE
Found in the abandoned laboratory, come across this treasure while exploring for an extra EDGE in combat. The cursed edge this treasure gives your weapon makes it swing faster, increasing attack speed for whoever holds it. However, weapons sharpened by the whetstone lose their blunt edge, and can no longer stun targets with hits as long as you carry the whetstone.
LOBBYing for a better tomorrow
We've implemented a new lobby state to our game loop! Before, if you left the game before it got started, your character would be incapacitated and you'd lose all your hard earned items. But no longer! Now, you can safely leave the start room up until the rounds properly kick off. To facilitate this, you can no longer use consumables or drop items until the round starts.
Bug fixes
Fixed and unified move speed code
Now Molokhia should move slower than Sprout, attack startups for melee weapons should now properly slow you down - Fixed damage numbers not showing up for all players
What else?
To help with identifying items on the floor, pickups now have colors! Regular equipment is a light steel color, Sprout's pickups are blue, Molokhia's are red, puzzle keys are purple, and treasures are a shining gold. [Pic] Molokhia's pie-making ability now uses the same spawn effect as Sprout's gamble ability What's next? We're working on some new environment art! Check in next week to see the beautiful walls and floors our artist has been cooking up.
