Hereโs whatโs new in the latest Fearwoods demo update. Step by step, things are getting more polished - thank you for all the feedback. โค๏ธ
โ Fixes & Improvements:
๐งญ Rune Compass Rework Standard direction letters have been replaced with rune symbols for a more immersive and unsettling atmosphere.
๐ Helicopter Audio Range Increased Increased the distance at which the extraction helicopter can be heard.
๐น Demon Environment Collision Disabled Removed unnecessary environment collision restrictions to improve demon chase flow.
๐ Reduced Demon Attack Range Slightly decreased the demonโs attack range for better gameplay balance.
๐ฅ Online Friends List Reduced Cleaned up and reduced the online friends list display size.
๐ ๏ธ Build Version Display Fix Improved the build version display in the bottom-left corner for better readability.
๐ฅ Spectate Option Fix (Multiplayer Client) Spectate option should now correctly appear again when rejoining as a guest.
๐ฃ New Surface-Based Footsteps Added Added dedicated footstep sounds for:
Wooden surfaces
Stone/rock surfaces
Sand surfaces
๐ Arabic Translation Improvements Fixed and improved Arabic localization issues.
๐ Additional GPS Spawn Fixes Continued improvements to GPS spawn distribution.
๐๏ธ Additional Demon Trap Spawn Fixes More trap spawn corrections across the map.
๐ฒ Forest NavMesh Regenerated Fully regenerated forest navmesh to improve demon pathfinding during chases.
๐๏ธ Interior NavMesh Improvements Improved building navmesh so the demon no longer stops or idles incorrectly inside structures.

The compass runes will pulse red when aligned with GPS fragments to improve readability and make navigation more intuitive during searches.
