📢 Patch Notes - Latest Update
Hey everyone, this patch went live last Friday (March 20, 2026).
Here’s what’s included in the latest update:
✅ Fixed / Added in this patch:
Added spawn class system for GPS fragments
New flashlight texture for improved atmosphere
Increased sharpness on environment assets
Fixed incorrectly placed collisions on multiple objects
Improved navmesh in underground areas
First iteration of navigation system - rune pulsing (may still have issues and will be further refined)
First iteration of anti camera-rotation spam system
Players now always spawn together in multiplayer sessions
Fixed issue with invisible players after restarting a session (players should now see each other correctly online)
Fixed hard-surface environment model issues
🔧 In Progress / Planned:
Further improvements and tweaking to rune navigation system
Expanding compass into a haunted music box mechanic (anti camera spam + increased immersion)
More variations of fear-inducing screamers
More variations of death screamers
Reworked blood rune textures on walls (more complex and larger patterns)
Adjusting shield distance from the player’s flashlight
New first-person hand animations
Additional mid-pose animations for smoother blending
Multiplayer lobby improvements
Trap trigger events (door slamming / opening)
Return of logic puzzles with updated models (better aligned with Aveline’s story and atmosphere)
First iteration of Aveline’s story journal system (collecting and generating story fragments during gameplay)
