Farmer's Dynasty 2 changes
Gameplay and Balance
Removed the incorrect message stating that 50 Social Points were earned when removing furniture by pressing E.
Area information (field and forest name) is now displayed near the centre of the relevant area instead of at the right edge of the screen. This should make locations easier to identify, but we might improve this further based on player feedback.
Reduced the selling prices of wood in regular shops. Market prices should now be more profitable, although the difference depends on the type of wood.
Reworked farm value calculations to increase the potential profit from restoring and reselling farms. Returns vary depending on the farm’s condition and the amount of work required, but some farms can now generate profits well above 140% of the invested money.
Duck Eggs and New Recipes
Ducks now produce proper duck eggs. Previously, collected duck eggs were treated as regular chicken eggs.
Duck eggs are noticeably more valuable because ducks are less common and their eggs are more difficult to obtain.
Added two recipes using duck eggs:
Duck eggs with paprika
Duck egg soup with white sausage and wild mushrooms
Cooking Balance
Tomato soup nutrition reduced from 45 to 30.
Sausage in sweet cola sauce value increased from 10.50 to 11.50.
Shakshouka nutrition reduced from 75 to 65.
Lumberjack’s stew nutrition reduced from 85 to 72.
Steak nutrition increased from 45 to 50.
Shashlik nutrition increased from 35 to 40.
Grilled chicken legs nutrition increased from 32 to 35.
Fried chicken legs nutrition increased from 40 to 50.
Cola chicken legs nutrition increased from 42 to 54.
Pasta with tomato sauce nutrition increased from 30 to 45.
Pasta with wild mushrooms nutrition increased from 28 to 42.
Reduced the number of dishes produced per batch of ingredients:
Letcho: 1
Shakshouka: 1
Lumberjack’s stew: 2
Uncooked white sausage has been moved to Basic Recipes.
Fried eggs with sausage have been moved to Traditional Recipes.
Daisy Markets now sell flour in small packages instead of large sacks. You must sleep for one night before this change takes effect.
Building and Fireplaces
Player-built fireplaces can now be dismantled with an axe.
When approaching a player-built fireplace while holding an axe, a prompt to remove it will appear.
Removing the fireplace returns its remaining wood to your inventory.
When not holding an axe, the regular prompt to add wood will appear.
Predefined fireplaces placed in the world cannot be removed and continue to display the regular prompt.
Picking up building materials other than wood, such as bricks, no longer incorrectly describes them as pine planks.
Rebuilding with new materials now displays the correct material in the interaction prompt instead of defaulting to pine planks.
Fixes
Fixed an issue that could cause rare and important items, including Damsel and Lucky, to be sold when selling the item positioned before them in the inventory menu.
Fixed multi-cooking recipes that required ingredients from more than one stack. The game now correctly finds and consumes ingredients across multiple stacks.
Fixed incorrect stacking when cooking more than 250 items at once. Additional stacks are now created as needed, preventing oversized stacks and potential item loss when selling them.
Fixed non-functional garage gates at the purchasable farm northwest of Nathan and Nelly’s farm. This fix applies to new games.
Fixed an invisible greenhouse table at the purchasable farm north of town. This fix applies to new games.
