Farmer's Dynasty 2 changes
Hello, farmers!
Phew! It's been a scorcher of a stretch out here!
The kind of heat that has you working the fields at dawn and hiding in the shade by noon. Wherever you're farming from, we hope you're keeping cool and hydrated. If you missed what's been going on around the farm lately, here's the short on what changed.

Sawmill Open for Business
After a long wait, the Riverside Sawmill is running at last, bringing fresh trade and opportunity to this part of the land. For those of us used to working the soil, it's a whole different sort of trade.
If you haven't seen it yet, the way to get the logs down to the sawmill is to drop them in the river and let them float there - a very satisfying watch.
What you decide to do with the wood is up to you. Debark and sell the logs right away, or focus on selling planks. Whatever you go for, there's a word to be said for renovating with the planks you've made: the wood you choose decides the look!
Out by the mill, little goes to waste. Bark, sawdust, and woodchips now have their worth. Sell them by the grain markets, or carry them the longer way to Ernesto and Ricardo's, who pay double for woodchips to smoke their meat.

Thinking Green
No one understands better than a farmer that what is taken must be given back. In that same spirit, you can now replant the forests that fed the sawmill.
Five kinds of trees take root: Birch, Oak, Pine, Poplar, and Spruce! Each grows from seedling to young tree to one fit for felling. Give it some time, and the treeline returns.
Oh, and there's a new radio available: Hyperion Radio. Something to whistle along to while the woodchips fly.
From the first felled log to the last replanted sapling, it's all in your hands now.
Until next time, farmers!
