Farmer Against Potatoes Idle changes
The wait is over - this update brings three major new systems, after a much longer test phase than originally planned. Based on your feedback and suggestions, this patch also includes a large number of fixes, balance changes, and stability improvements. Additionally, both anniversary pets are available to capture again for a limited time.
Transcendence A portal malfunction sends you back to earlier Ascensions – but with new possibilities. • New prestige layer: unlock previously unreachable Ascensions • Climb the first 5 Transcendences • Scaling bonuses: the longer you remain in a Transcendence, the stronger its effects become • Added Transcendence statistics
Eternity The malfunction has also unleashed new enemies. • 4th difficulty unlocked • Unique Enemy scaling • Rewards scale based on your maximum reached wave (every x25 waves)
Artifacts Strange objects are being uncovered alongside portal fragments… Gather a new rare resource! Upgrade your Jewel to unlock the full potential of Gems
Expeditions & Farming • Expedition rewards reworked: Potatoes, Skulls, and Worms can now drop inside the portal (Snapshotting is no longer possible - and no longer needed) • Farming, Assembly, and Grasshopper calculations improved (especially offline) • Added hold-click functionality for various buy/actions (QoL) • Added “Buy All” button to the Farming Shop (Unique section)
Soul Shop New Soul Shop upgrades added • Additional pet and expedition loadout slots
Subclasses & Loadouts This has been one of the most requested QoL feature for a long time - and we finally made it happen. • Added Undo option and one-click toggles for subclass talents • Added auto-assignment for subclass talents (Only in Transcendence) To ensure compatibility with the new system, subclass talents and loadouts were reset
Miscellaneous, UI & Stability • SWP/SKP Ascension Reduction cap removed • Removed Eternal placeholders (Challenges / Lab) • Fixed many typos, inconsistencies, and improved translations - Thanks to your reports and feedback. • Added Pet Rank to Information Details • Added option to disable the Pet Max Promotion animation • Reincarnation Shop button moved into the Reincarnation window • Changing class or portal can no longer place you into higher areas than reached • Trade Center cannot be opened before it is built • Added Info pages and Leaderboard stats • Opening Info Section no longer shows information for locked Features • Continued improvements and fixes for mobile stability • Never Scrap Max Rarity setting now also prevents Equipment from Offline reward to get scrapped due to high HS
But this is only the beginning - the new MP system, a performance update, and Part II of Transcendence with new features and more QoL based on your feedback are already on the way.
Known Issue: When returning from offline while in Eternal, enemy counts per wave may be calculated too high. Changing the area resolves the issue. A fix is in progress.
