Farlands changes
The 0.9 Update focuses on just two things: Weddings and the Ark rework. And while this update may seem smaller on paper, both features are extremely important and come with a lot of additions to Farlands. Let’s go step by step.
With this update, you can now complete the stories of all romanceable characters by reaching their final relationship event, the Level 5 event.
The eight bachelor and bachelorette storylines now reach their conclusion, closing their character arcs. But that doesn’t mean the journey ends there, because once you reach this level with any NPC, and if you have enough space in your house, you’ll be able to get married.
To get married, you’ll need to use the Ceremonial Ribbon. Mayor Oola will explain how everything works when the time comes.

Alongside this, we’ve also been working on improving the gamefeel and overall functionality of the Ark. Since this system was introduced very early in Farlands’ development, time had started to show its effects, and it was due for a full overhaul.
This includes redesigned interfaces that better communicate the Ark’s progress, new animations that show the museum filling up over time, and improved visual and audio feedback for every step of the process.
As always, we’ve also fixed a large number of smaller bugs, with the goal of making Farlands feel as smooth as possible. And at this point… we’re getting close to the end.
The next update will bring Farlands to version 1.0, with all the content planned in the roadmap in place, and even a few extras that weren’t originally announced, like the speeder, just to name one.
It’s incredible to see how close we are to finishing the project. Even though we plan to keep updating the game after 1.0 with fixes and small additions, we are truly approaching the end of the road, and none of this would have been possible without you.
So thank you very much.
Now the team goes back into the cave to keep working on Farlands, and the next time we update you, it will be to share information about the final release date.
Thanks again for your support, and see you very soon!
