Hello everyone!

addedSome of you played the old demo, and from the bottom of my heart, thank you . The feedback you sent was incredibly helpful and a lot of it has gone straight back into the game. I'm now putting together a new and improved demo that shows Fakutori off properly. I'll have more to share on when you can get your hands on it soon. You may have already noticed that the old one has been taken down a while ago, so I can give the next one the polish it deserves.
changedYou might also notice the Steam page looks a little different. When I first started showing Fakutori off, I leaned hard into the cosy, relaxing side of things (which is all still true!) But Fakutori has a surprising amount of depth hiding under the surface, and the old page didn't quite show that. So I've reworked the, the trailer, description, key art and the words to show off the automation, the discovery, and just how far the game will take you. Hopefully it gives a truer picture of what you're actually getting into!
changedIf any of this sounds like your kind of thing, the single most helpful thing you can do is wishlist Fakutori on Steam . I know everyone says it, but it really does make a difference for a solo dev; it's how the game gets seen.

Quite a lot to share today...

There's a brand new trailer for the game! Have a watch:

This is the best look at Fakutori so far: the elements, the discovery, the factories, and a few things I won't spoil! I'm really proud of how it came together, so I hope you enjoy it.

Now, onto the rest of the news…

Firstly, Fakutori has found a home. I've teamed up with Mythwright to bring the game to launch, and I couldn't be happier about it! They're the folks behind games like Thronefall, Going Medieval and Scriptorium, so the game's in good hands. Having a team to help me get Fakutori in front of as many people as possible means I can keep doing the bit I love most: making the game.

Another big announcement: Fakutori is launching in 2026! No exact date just yet, but it's coming this year, and things are about to get busy.

Some of you played the old demo, and from the bottom of my heart, thank you. The feedback you sent was incredibly helpful and a lot of it has gone straight back into the game. Lastly: thank you. To everyone who's played, posted, sent feedback or just quietly followed along, it really does mean a lot. Keep it coming, too; I read it all, and your feedback genuinely shapes the game as we head towards launch. There's plenty more to share over the next few weeks, and I can't wait to show you.

Thank you so much! Antoine
