addedGood news, everyone! After months of work and playtesting, I'm happy to announce a new version of the demo!
changedThis is mostly a technical update: huge chunks of the game's code and systems have been rewritten. The result: increased stability, fewer bugs, and most importantly, a dramatic increase in framerate! Wakas reported up to 10 times the framerate in some cases, which is especially noticeable on very big factories. You know what that means: time to build even bigger factories!
addedThe content itself is basically the same, but the update also packs a bunch of QoL changes and small reworks that will make your factory building easier. Here's what you can look forward in this new and improved demo:
changedThe core system of the game, which dictates the way blocks move and interact with each others, has been largely rewritten; interactions between blocks are now much more consistent, logical and predictable.
addedNew QoL features have been implemented: the save/load menu has been reworked, the currency counters now display big numbers in a more efficient way, you can now resize the game window in windowed mode... Those small points of friction are now a thing of the past!
addedThe wakas have informed me that the Black Hole and Quasar blocks have new properties. I'll let you discover by yourselves what you can now do with them...
