The game is finally published. It has been a long journey, since I started drafting stuff 2 years ago, and started development 9 months ago.

addedThe game is finally published. It has been a long journey, since I started drafting stuff 2 years ago, and started development 9 months ago. The engine I chose was probably not the best (since I was not able to do many of the things I wished), and added to the fact that for the future, I'll develop smaller games, are the reasons why I'll move to Godot. Probably. Me making other games, is not exactly set in stone. Regarding the future of Fading Echoes Voices, I'll release new content updates in the future, which will be free, since I don't really believe in this "Buy the game and spend ten times more in DLCs". I'll release a roadmap in the future. Also, the game doesn't have particular protection against piracy, because it would be pointless, and I have pirated a lot of stuff, so...fair. But at least I tried to prevent it with low price. The past months have been challenging, both in the making of this game, and in private life, so I'm a little burn-out, which is why probably future content will come out in months. So, lastly, I want to thank everyone that has been with me during this journey, in private life, in liking a post, in wishlisting, playing and you, the person who reads this stuff. Thanks for being a part of this journey in my life in any shape or form. Finally, for what I hope is not the last time, I can say "There is an update, let's see what changed:"
changedWhen pressing the button for the defense QTE, the character target by the enemy, may still jump or charge a bar, even if the enemy move ended
changedSome shortcut buttons can't be configured, so if the button is changed, it won't be possible to have that shortcut anymore. However resetting the shortcuts can solve the problem.

  • When opening the game, it could says it has problems finding a .bgm file, simply close and reopen the game

  • You may find some holes or mispelling in the translations, simply report them so I can fix them

  • When pressing the button for the defense QTE, the character target by the enemy, may still jump or charge a bar, even if the enemy move ended

  • Some shortcut buttons can't be configured, so if the button is changed, it won't be possible to have that shortcut anymore. However resetting the shortcuts can solve the problem.

  • Some trees have a visual bug, part of the character maybe be seen over, and part under, this error is caused by the engine and is unsolvable

  • It's possible that when opening the game an error message may appear. It doesn't affect anything, you can simply close it and play the game.
