Repeated intro

Hello, friends!

What changed

  • Gameplay
  • UI and audio
  • Maps
  • Performance
changedWe actively continue to develop the storyline of ExTime: Primal Menace and at the moment there are more than two hours of gameplay, which is built in a logical sequence. Each element of the story is worked out with attention to detail to create an atmosphere and dynamics that will keep the player in suspense throughout the game.
changedWe realized that the current process for creating cutscenes was not efficient enough. This required us to review our pipeline and rework the existing cutscenes. Now we create cutscenes faster and at a higher quality level, fundamentally changing the approach to their development. As a result, the game already has over 10 minutes of story cutscenes, each of which helps to reveal the world and immerse the player in the story. Interface.
changedOne of the important improvements was the addition of an archipelago navigation system, i.e. an in-game map. The map turned out to be not only convenient, but also extremely informative. With its help the player can easily navigate the world, determine their current location and plan further steps. In addition to this, the map provides useful details about found but not collected items, which allows the player to go back without missing valuable resources.
changedAlso we have significantly improved gamepad support. Now you can play with a gamepad, getting a full and convenient gaming experience. We have updated the interface elements, developed menu navigation and optimized controls so that interaction with the game becomes comfortable and intuitive. Gamepad owners will be able to fully enjoy the game without experiencing any inconvenience. In ExTime: Primal Menace we have implemented extensive options for customizing the visual component. Players will be able to choose ready-made presets with a certain level of graphics or adjust the parameters as precisely as possible to their preferences. Our settings system will allow you to change every detail of the image to achieve optimal quality and performance.
addedOver time we plan to add explanations for each parameter in the settings to make it easier to understand which visual aspects change when they are adjusted. These text tips and visual demonstrations of effects will help you navigate the settings better and achieve the desired visual style or stability of the game.

The team hasn't been in touch for a long time but we hasten to assure you: our work on the game has not stopped for a single moment. Since the April update, we have put a lot of effort into the development of ExTime: Primal Menace and we’re happy that now we can tell you about what we have achieved. Every detail we have been working on in recent months brings us closer to the final goal, and it is time to share the results of our work.
