  • Heroes possess unique traits based on race, have 2 to 5 trait slots depending on race and class level, one trait can be equipped in each slot.

  • in trait slot must be appropriately equipped to heroes according to heroes' class, gear/skills, and future enemies. Most effects strengthen based on number of heroes equipped with same , so careful [c][Combination][/c] of heroes with identical traits is required.

  • Discovered can be leveled up using [c][Soul of Essence][/c] item, strengthening trait's effect.

  • For that modify class skill effects, separate selection interface added to allow selection as before.

Settlements and Standing

  • Each race has individual standing (affinity). [c][Standing][/c] can be acquired by defeating monsters in region where race settlement located, exploring exploration areas suitable for race, or donating unnecessary items at settlement.

  • Relationship rank changes based on [c][Standing][/c], accessible features at each race settlement are unlocked/restricted based on relationship rank.

Races

Difficulty

  • Difficulty structure unchanged, but due to addition of legendary grade gear and skillbooks, and system providing higher effects than before, torment/extreme difficulty levels set to be significantly harder than before.

Transcendence

  • system added, which uses [c][Transcendence Material][/c] to upgrade unique grade (purple) gear/skillbooks to legendary grade (orange).

  • [c][Transcendence Material][/c] can be acquired via [c][Combination][/c] of [c][Transcendence Shard][/c] + [c][Crafting Material][/c] at [c][Workshop][/c] building, or rarely drops in torment/extreme difficulty.

    • [c][Transcendence Shard][/c] can be acquired from village's [c][Peddler][/c], [c][Settlement Shop][/c], and from [c][Relic Excavation Site][/c] appearing in exploration fields on torment/extreme difficulty.

  • Legendary grade gear items gain new ability.

  • Legendary grade skillbooks gain increased skill effect amount.

Artificing

  • system added, which expands number of [c][Rune Slot][/c] on skillbooks.

  • Use [c][Artificing Chisel][/c] at [c][Enchanting Department][/c] building to unlock skillbook slot count up to limit.

  • [c][Artificing Chisel][/c] can be purchased from peddler and settlements.

Gear

  • Gear items required for gear upgrade can now be used even if enhancement level is not the same.

Skillbooks and Runes

  • [c][Unique Effect][/c] added to special skillbooks not sold at village's [c][Shop][/c].

  • [c][Summon Skillbook][/c] and [c][Beast Rune Category][/c] added.

    • Normal summon skillbooks summon wisp, but equipping beast rune allows summoning of corresponding monster.

    • Monsters each possess and use unique skills in combat, fulfilling current party's needs.

    • Monsters summoned by [c][Summon Skillbook][/c] are limited to 1, summoning creature exceeding limit greatly reduces ability, but limit can be increased via .

Village

  • [c][Workshop][/c] building added.

    • Can perform [c][Combination][/c] (previously done at dragon hunter's workshop) and newly added [c][Transcendence][/c].

  • Upgrading gear/skillbook related options at [c][Shop][/c] building greatly increases grade of items appearing compared to before.

  • All heroes' health now recovered upon returning from expedition.

Combat

  • Movement and target algorithm changed to favor more linear movement.

  • Shield limit ability changed to shield amplification ability.

  • Shields applied to unit are amplified, and current shield limit restricted to unit's maximum health.

Field

  • Field interactions now occur instantly upon clicking.

  • Number of field events increased by approximately 25-50%.

  • Obelisk added.

    • Activation grants ability bonus to unit depending on obelisk.

    • Passage possible.

  • Stash added.

    • Tile randomly placed in designated field each expedition, displays small shimmering effect.

    • Interaction consumes [c][Shovel][/c] item to open.

    • Gear, gem material items, and gold items appear.

  • [c][Relic Excavation Site][/c] added.

    • Appears in torment/extreme difficulty.

    • [c][Relic Excavation Site][/c] locations saved up to 10, remains in location until interaction.

    • Interaction requires [c][Shovel][/c] item.

    • Switches to relic excavation field, relics can be excavated via simple mini game in field.

    • Relic excavation grants [c][Transcendence Shard][/c], [c][Gold][/c], and [c][Relic Spoils][/c] items.

Exploration Area

  • Size of most exploration areas increased by approximately 25-50%.

  • [c][Nothing Happens][/c] result removed from most events.

  • Improved pathfinding structure when moving to long distance areas.

  • Since bookcase event rewards are high compared to other events, chance for traps to be added.

Items

  • Stealth herb added, use grants [c][Stealth Status][/c] to expedition.

    • Stealth status: on difficulty hard or higher, field enemies do not guard, suppress, combat events in exploration area can be bypassed, surprise combat can be initiated.

    • Surprise combat restricts enemy placement to center of field, allows friendly heroes to be arranged in donut formation.

  • Hunger points now increase immediately upon consuming food.

  • Elixirs now persist for 3-5 combat upon use.

  • Return scroll added, allows immediate return to village upon use.

  • Trait discovery scroll added, scroll item that discovers trait added.

  • Existing trait related items now discover trait upon use.

  • Using estate mushroom now grants undying status to all heroes.

    • Undying status: prevents accumulation of death's threshold value when hero dies once.

  • Stack limit for shovels, camping gear items changed to 10.

Bug Fixes and Other Changes

  • Fixed issue where non-existent items displayed when dismantling gear.

  • Fixed issue where peddler did not arrive on time.

  • Fixed issue where unit events around field boss were incorrectly set.

  • Fixed issue where lever event data in exploration area was incorrectly set.

  • Fixed issue where movement attempted toward blurred unit during combat.

  • Feast removed from village.

  • Expeditions now start with maximum hunger points.

  • Slider for inherited knowledge no longer resets when reforging gear with known abilities.

  • Firing promoted hero now includes experience accumulated up to promotion.

  • Hero's name now displayed in hero UI.
