addedTerry here, I'm so excited to announce and release the Steam Deck compatibility "Update". A lot of the features to become Steam Deck Verified have been slowly introduced in the last couple months. My goal is to maintain compatibility with the Steam Deck going forward, I believe the game is a blast with the Steam Deck, and I believe performance and usability are at a good spot where I'd love to hear feedback & ideas on how the experience on the deck can be improved. Control during the shops or menus should work, but the touchscreen and joysticks should always work in case of errors.
removedRECOMMENDED: Disabled Edge Camera Panning & Switch to 2 Column sidebar for best usability experience.
changedVulkan Graphics API improve performance on AMD GPUs, Including the Steam Deck.
changedRescaled Text + UI Buttons to be more accessible for the Deck's Resolution.
changedCustom In-Game controller Scheme: I've mapped almost every button on the Steam Deck to all of the feature in the game, from hitting "Select" to go back Home or using the D-pad to change the in-game speed.

Gamers,

Terry here, I'm so excited to announce and release the Steam Deck compatibility "Update".

RECOMMENDED: Disabled Edge Camera Panning & Switch to 2 Column sidebar for best usability experience.

It's using two action-sets; one for In-Game and one for Menus.

Why Terrytorial Disputes is great on Deck:

  • Converted Cutscene(s) to Webm VP8, this will make cutscenes compatible with the Steam Deck & Most future devices/platforms. Conversion reduces cutscene size by over 50%, 17MB vs 6.5MB.

  • Vulkan Graphics API improve performance on AMD GPUs, Including the Steam Deck.

  • Rescaled Text + UI Buttons to be more accessible for the Deck's Resolution.

  • Custom In-Game controller Scheme: I've mapped almost every button on the Steam Deck to all of the feature in the game, from hitting "Select" to go back Home or using the D-pad to change the in-game speed.

I'll be in bed playing TD on my Steam Deck, Terry
