Repeated intro

Hello, fellow cosmic explorers and pixelated pioneers! We know it's been a while since our last update, and we owe you an apology for the radio silence and a galaxy-sized thanks for your patience. We've been quietly tinkering away in the depths of the MobiusCode studio in the past few weeks, fuelled by passion, a touch of sci-fi magic, and the camaraderie of our team and you; both existing fans and recent wishlisters, and we've addressed a few smaller things to restart the development of the game.

added๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Patched for a Smoother Space Odyssey ๐Ÿ› ๏ธOur intrepid team has been wielding their digital toolkit to fix some pesky space-time wrinkles. The engine has been updated; say goodbye to the mysterious "Crash on Leave Planet Button" glitch! changed๐ŸŠ Refined Swimming Mechanics ๐ŸŠOne of the highly requested improvements has been to give the aquatic elements a tune-up. Swimming now requires you to "Hold Jump" instead of frenzied button mashing.
changed๐ŸŽฅ Lights, Camera... Less Camera Jaunt Action! ๐ŸŽฌEver felt like the camera had a mind of its own after opening inventory UIs? We've quelled that rebellious spirit - now, when you close the menu, the camera movement behaves itself, providing a more seamless transition back to where you were.
added๐Ÿ“ฅ Effortless Loot Gathering ๐Ÿ“ฅNo more inventory-related acrobatics! Weโ€™ve introduced a nifty "Hotkey for Take All button" (X) to accompany the button thatโ€™s in the UI.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Patched for a Smoother Space Odyssey ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ

Our intrepid team has been wielding their digital toolkit to fix some pesky space-time wrinkles. The engine has been updated; say goodbye to the mysterious "Crash on Leave Planet Button" glitch! You can now drift through the cosmos without worry, safe in the knowledge that the exit button will behave itself.

๐ŸŠ Refined Swimming Mechanics ๐ŸŠ

One of the highly requested improvements has been to give the aquatic elements a tune-up. Swimming now requires you to "Hold Jump" instead of frenzied button mashing.

๐ŸŽฅ Lights, Camera... Less Camera Jaunt Action! ๐ŸŽฌ

Ever felt like the camera had a mind of its own after opening inventory UIs? We've quelled that rebellious spirit - now, when you close the menu, the camera movement behaves itself, providing a more seamless transition back to where you were.

๐Ÿ“ฅ Effortless Loot Gathering ๐Ÿ“ฅ

No more inventory-related acrobatics! Weโ€™ve introduced a nifty "Hotkey for Take All button" (X) to accompany the button thatโ€™s in the UI.

๐Ÿ“œ Reading at Your Speed ๐Ÿ“œ

We've tinkered with the "Text Speed Setting" for your reading preferences. You can now choose from a 1-10 scale, so you can sip your space-age tea while enjoying the storyline at your own rhythm or rapidly absorb the texts if you prefer a lightspeed-read.

๐ŸŒŒ MobiusCode Updates ๐ŸŒŒ

The intro video and updated credits have been woven into the fabric of Exotic Matter as we have rebranded into MobiusCode after establishing our GmbH (some sort of terra-based German company thing).

Why the Silence?

You might be wondering why it's been a cosmic age since our last update. We owe you an apology for the long pause in communication there - our studio is a small team, and we're not just space explorers; our focus on B2B clients fuels our game development. While Exotic Matter was put on the backburner, we received funds from the German government during COVID times to start working on another title - Panic Mode, along with expanding our team. Since then we're back to using our software development funds, and we're aiming to devote more time towards bringing things out of Early Access.

Thereโ€™s more to the story โ€“ we hit some interstellar bumps along the way, encountering the gravitational forces of burnout and the need for a well-deserved breather. Crafting universes takes its toll, and we wanted to ensure our creative engines were roaring at full force before we ventured back into the cosmos of Exotic Matter. Itโ€™s been a suitably refreshing pause and it feels like the right time to return to Xcylin, weโ€™re hoping that youโ€™ll join us there.

We're deeply grateful for your support, feedback, and time you've invested thus far. Our roadmap is being built around your thoughts (along with some new ideas from our team) and weโ€™re hopeful that those elements will bring new energy to the experience. We'd love to hear from you about all of these things (complaints,
