Exile changes
Bug Fixes & Stability Improvements
Fixed crash that could occur when opening panels during building placement.
Fixed edge-floating early-construction mesh for schools.
Fixed bug where the school panel incorrectly displayed a full bookshelf immediately after construction.
Fixed issue where millers would take and then abandon flour at the mill.
Fixed bug preventing cancellation of home upgrades to sturdy homes.
Health & Population Balance
Significantly reduced chances of mass illness from all sources, especially peer-to-peer spread.
Villagers are less likely to suffer workplace fatalities (though minor injuries are slightly more common).
Risk of losing villagers during childbirth reduced with access to healthcare.
Increased chances of newlyweds successfully having a firstborn.
Building & Housing Upgrades
Upgrade icon now disappears from panel after completion.
House panel updated to better explain the "Upgrade to Sturdy Home" button.
Fixed issue preventing sturdy home upgrades from being canceled early in the process.
Tweaked building costs for better resource balance: --Brewpub: +2 iron --Bakery: +1 iron --Paper Mill: -1 iron --Market: -2 stone --Mill: -2 iron --Sturdy Homes: -1 stone
Jobs & Production Changes
Added rare chance for trade buildings to produce an extra good at no cost.
Made ranching easier overall (ranchers now perform tasks more effectively).
Tools now improve effectiveness for farming, foresting, and ranching roles.
Slight decrease to food values for easier-to-grow crops.
User Interface Improvements
Main menu now respects UI scaling.
Increased the maximum allowed UI scale.
Enlarged quick-access panel to better match others.
Resource labels added to quick-access panel on mouse hover.
Town Hall category buttons now display description text on hover.
Home button now centers on the town; space bar still jumps to a villager.
Added 0.5x speed setting for finer control.
Polish & Immersion
Villager status messages now repeat less frequently during repetitive tasks.
Trails in dirt, snow, and water now decay more slowly.
Ranch buildings now display a “tended” description similar to farms.
