Hotfix 1 is now live. Thank you to everyone who has continued sharing feedback — it genuinely shapes where we focus our efforts.

Alongside this patch, we want to share what we are working on in Update 4 and beyond.

Parkour Input Overhaul

We are redesigning the input logic for wall climbing, Side Wall Run, and hurdle jumps. Right now, all of these actions share the same direction stick + jump button combination, which causes them to compete with each other and fire when you did not intend them to. This has been one of the most frequently mentioned issues in Steam reviews, and it is our top priority for Update 4.

The current design evaluates multiple parkour actions simultaneously from the same inputs, making unintended triggers difficult to avoid. We are reworking the detection logic to address situations like "I tried to climb up but vaulted over instead" or "Side Wall Run activated mid-jump without warning."

Weapon Combination Improvements

We are going through the directional-input and Delay-input combo branches and improving the ones that are hardest to use reliably.

We are also adding a dedicated combo reference GUI. While a weapon is selected in your inventory, you will be able to press a button to pull up that weapon's full combo tree — normal chain, Delay branch, and directional branch — at any time. Several players have pointed out that they did not know combos existed or could not figure out how to trigger them. This feature is meant to give you a clear reference whenever you want it.

Item and Structure Placement Restrictions Lifted

We are significantly relaxing the placement rules for crafted structures.

The guiding principle is: if it does not cause a progression block or a camera issue, you should be able to place it wherever you want. EXELIO's crafting is meant to reward experimentation and player creativity. We want to get out of your way and let you build how you want.

Upcoming Hotfix Candidates (Under Consideration)

In parallel with Update 4 development, the following items are being considered for upcoming hotfix releases. These are not confirmed, but represent what we are actively looking into.

  • Screen brightness (gamma) adjustment option

  • Anvil placement in specific areas and relaxed Anvil placement restrictions

  • Camera right stick conflict fix

  • Graphics quality settings improvements

  • Display Selection feature

  • Inventory icon outline highlight

  • Inventory icon key guide improvements

  • Recipe UI improvements: better visibility for missing-material icons and a fix for material slots not clearing properly

  • Additional bug fixes and minor improvements

We are grateful for your continued support and patience. Bug reports and feedback are always welcome — they help us find and fix issues we might otherwise miss. Looking forward to sharing more as Update 4 comes together.
