Repeated intro
Hello! This is the Exelio development team.

Last time, we talked about surviving your first day — the UI and survival mechanics of finding water, gathering food, and building a base.
Today, we're going beyond that. What happens after the sun goes down.
The enemies grow stronger and stronger.
## When Night Falls, the Game Changes
Exelio plays completely differently between day and night.
During the day, it's all about exploration and crafting. Gather materials, build weapons, set up your base. The "game feel" we talked about in DevLog #1 and the crafting UI from DevLog #2 — that's what the daytime is for.
But when night comes, the enemies come with it.
The same peaceful planet that welcomed you during the day becomes a battlefield at night. This contrast is at the heart of Exelio's survival.
*When night falls, enemies swarm in.*
## Serena's Combat — Weapons and Key Combinations
During nighttime combat, you control the heroine, Serena.
Serena has a variety of actions depending on her weapon. It's not just about mashing the attack button. Different key combinations change your attacks, and learning when to use what opens up your combat options.
Weapons range from simple ones you can craft early on from basic materials, to special weapons hidden across the planet waiting to be discovered. Find your favorite weapon and build your own combos.

## Leon's Sabotage — Prepare Before You Fight
*Leon can build and place various obstacles around the base.*
The other character, Leon, isn't primarily a fighter. Instead, he can build obstacles.
Set traps and barriers to block or slow down enemy advance routes. If you spend the daytime preparing Leon's defensive line, nighttime combat becomes much more manageable.
Where do you place what? Which direction will the enemies come from? Building your defense with limited materials — this "game of preparation," not just action, is what gives Exelio its flavor.
## The Two Cannot Fight Together
One more thing.
Serena and Leon — you have two characters, but you cannot control them at the same time.
Why can't they fight together? The answer is deeply tied to this game's story.
To find out — play the game yourself.
## Prepare by Day, Fight by Night
*Powerful enemies assault you in the later stages...*
In Exelio, the daily cycle itself is your strategy.
How much did you explore during the day? What weapons did you find? Where did you place Leon's traps? Everything feeds directly into the night's battle.
Of course, we're still fine-tuning the nighttime balance. "Too many enemies." "Traps are too weak." "This one weapon is way too strong." — We want to work through these with you during Early Access, listening to your feedback.
Please share your thoughts on the Steam Community Hub. Tell us how you survived the night.
The launch date of March 5th is almost here.
Please add Exelio to your wishlist!
