Hello Everyone!
We're back with more information from the development of EverRail, and this week we'll be showcasing some of the new dungeons we've been working on since we took down the demo! One of the things we heard from players during the demo was that they wanted a larger amount of variety in the dungeons, and so we've been beavering away on these new designs which you'll be able to run into when you're out in the Tracklands of Inara.
Underground Facility
Here you can see the first of our new designs, an underground facility. These spaces are designed to feel more claustrophobic than the surface installations, and are home to some massive machinery. The machines, will, of course, be guarding them still. Steam post image
Hangar
Not all travel on Inara would have been by train had the machines done their job and terraformed the world for the human inhabitants - some instances would have demanded the speed of air travel, or a transfer to orbit, and that's where the hangars come in. Massive installations dedicated to the support and maintenance of aerial craft.

Lighting Model
We've also implemented a new lighting model in the dungeons, making them feel much more real and atmospheric! This gif shows it off quite nicely we think!
